Women's Re-entry Workshops...
The Women’s Re-entry program is hosting two semi-annual workshops. The workshop on Monday, Oct. 24 will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in room C-211 at the Centennial Campus and on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in room S-205 of the Rampart Range Campus. The workshop is centered around women age 27 and older who are returning to school.
This group meets each month to discuss nutrition and to release stress from everyday life. The women also get together weekly for a social networking meeting to talk about school and everyday problems and to just socialize with other women.. The workshop will be held at the Centennial Campus in room C-211 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on October 24th and at the Rampart Range Campus in room S-205 from 1 to 3:00 p.m. on October 27th.

Open Mic Night - Apprehensions of a First Timer

“Oh, we take good care of our virgins,” said Megan Boyle, coordinator of student activities, when asked what it’s like for someone reading for the first time at PPCC’s Open Mic Night. “It’s designed to encourage people to participate. We’re very supportive.”

College Students and Cheating
The findings in a study done by Don McCabe in the “In New CAI Research” released in June this year, showed high levels of cheating among college students. This study was done with 50,000 undergraduates students representing 60 college campuses. ...more

PPCC Annual Art Faculty Exhibit
This year's exhibit features 24 current PPCC faculty displaying their art at the Downtown Studio Campus Gallery. This exhibit, which runs through Tuesday, Oct. 18, features ceramics, design, digital images, drawings, figure drawings, glass, handbuilt clay, jewelry, paintings, pastels, photography, sculpture, stained glass and weaving. The Gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Downtowm Studio Campus Gallery is located at 100 W. Pikes Peak Ave.
