Registration Survey: A Pleasant Experience for Two out of Three

Every PPCCstudent has had to endure the process of enrollment and registration. Some may have found the process easy and some may have found it difficult and frustrating, so we set out to find out how the students of PPCC felt about their experience.

The Pikes Peak News recently conducted an online survey to find out if the students found registering for classes easy or not. Out of the 21 students that participated in the survey, 14 were satisfied with their registration experience, and 7 were not.

Some participants thanked the staff of the registration department, as well as the advisers, for assisting in the process and making it simple for the students to enroll and register. On the other hand, the biggest complaint was that the staff in the department made it a difficult experience by not calling them back and being irritated or frustrated with the students.

One student who was pleased with the registration process said, "The ladies in the student services center seem to be over worked. Around the time of registration they are very stressed and seem short tempered."

One suggestion to improve the process for others in the future:"I think it could be better if there were more staff in that area in the enrollment services office. Someone else should answer the incoming calls. Perhaps there should be a link on the website with all frequently asked questions regarding anything and everything." (Back to top)
