Attention AA Math Students!
At the request of the community college system, Pikes Peak Community College is continuing to participate in a study to determine if there are differences in the success rates of students going from MAT 090 to MAT 120 or MAT 155/6 and those who go from MAT 106 to MAT 120 or MAT 155/6. For summer, fall and spring semesters of academic year 2008-2009 all students who complete MAT 090 with a grade of C or higher may elect to waive MAT 106 if they plan to take MAT 120 or MAT 155/6 regardless of catalog year. Please note that this waiver does not apply to MAT 121 or MAT 135.
Students who wish to waive MAT 106 must go to the Division of Mathematics and Technology at the Centennial or Rampart Range Campuses to sign a waiver form. Students at the Downtown Studio Campus may see Wayne Artis in room S218.
If you have any questions about the waiver, please contact Wayne Artis at (719) 502-3002 or at wayne.artis@ppcc.edu.
